Background

Key Performance Indicators are the measurements, qualitative or quantitative, that give an image of the performance of the team - working towards a goal. Good actors aim to provide the team with True KPI - indicators that are truly correlated with performance. Bad actors can pose False KPI - indicators that are not correlated with performance. In the next Epic Ideas Jam, we are going to explore the ideas behind False KPI: why would someone pose a False KPI? is the truthiness of a KPI relative? is misdirection unavoidable?
